Trailer: Independent suspension coil springs, gas shock absorbers support an off road chassis with 4 fold-down sides. The trailer platform accommodates 2 gastronome heavy-duty stainless steel stoves.

African Outback Products has developed an aluminium canopy for all leading 4WD vehicles.  The frame is constructed from purpose-made aluminium extrusions.  Features include optional side-hatches going up or down or sliding glass windows.  Standard is a glass cabslide, full size rear glass door and grooved sections on top of the canopy for fitment of an Outback roof rack, top rail or Technitop Tent.

This stylish yet practical canopy offers easy access from the sides and is lightweight but strong enough to carry a sizable load..  It is available in white, black or Outback grey.  We can also colour match  to your car.

Purpose manufactured extruded aluminium bars 6063 T6 material.  Has one 8mm slide-in bolt facility to secure bike holder; boat / canopy holder; ladder roller holder; rooftop tents; extra spare wheels; jerry cans; eye-bolt assemblies and any other equipment to be fastened securely on top of your vehicle.

Each bar has 2 x 8mm bolt sliders to take Outback leg mounting systems; the same as the Outback roof rack i.e., gutter mount; block mount; track mount or clamp-on system.

This unique system was developed with the following ideas and advantages in mind.

1. A single cab 2 x 4 or 4 x 4 is priced lower than most others.
2. If used for business, the v.a.t. can be  re-claimed.
3. The Hilux single cab is already very popular with farmers, tradesmen etc.
4. With interior dimensions of 1.6m x 2.3m, the loadbody tent is the most spacious – worldwide.  It also features an 80mm mattress and short ladder.
5. With a 2m long double drawer system there is no need for inside boxes.
6. This all-in-one unit comprises a built-in fully equipped kitchen, 2-burner gas stove, sliding work board, 32L fridge, aluminium table, 2^nd battery split-charger, lock-up safe, gas bottle holder, fire extinguisher, 60L water tank, large fabric clothes compartment, load bars for mounting bikes, canoe, alu storage box etc.
7. The entire unit is removed with quick-release catches.  In less than 20 minutes the vehicle is back to an original single cab.
8. Additional features:  no wind resistance, not top-heavy, low centre of gravity, weighs only 285kg. and has excellent road handling ability.

This is a product for young and old; sporty, but very easy to open and close.

Manufactured from galvanized sheet metal, 48 sealed roller bearings support 2 large drawers and a fridge pull-out panel. 

Hard-wearing industrial needle-punched carpeting seals the 12mm marine ply-wood top floor.

The drawers and fridge slide are fully lockable.  Each drawer has a weight capacity of 150kg.

The fridge slide mounted fridges can carry up to 100kg.

In most cases the drawer system is mounted onto existing tie-down points in the load body.  The top floor provides complete cover of the load body with lift-out side covers allowing access to the space behind the wheel arches.

The drawer system is easy to remove and causes no damage to the vehicle.

 Moveable drawer dividers provide compartments in the drawers.

A fully welded grid construction design roof carrier, which is supported by four bolt-on legs that adjust vertically and horizontally. These leg sections are connected by angle bracket to four bolt-on mounting blocks with thread plates inside the roof section.

The mounting blocks are fitted into the roof channel and become a permanent fixture. The roof carrier can be easily unbolted from the mounting blocks.

Aluminium extrusions - 6063, together with pressure die cast corners are used for the rack which has an optional top rail.

All accessories i.e. hi-lift jack bracket, spade bracket, jerry can holder, gas bottle holder are available as simple bolt-on products.

The roof racks are powder-coated, clear-coated.

An all aluminium constructed load body cover for most 4x4 double cabs, extra cabs, club cabs and single cabs.

Fully lockable with both key and electric lock mechanism. 

Two gas struts make lifting of the Smartop easy.  Stronger struts must be used for heavier loads.

A small inside light is fitted to the rear of the Smartop.  

Loads of up to 150 kg. can be tied down on top of the cover.

Sealing rubbers seals off the load body.  Please note that the vehicle load body must first be made dust-proof prior to fitting the Smartop.

The electrical release lock is activated by a push button inside the cab.
